"Server Name not found by Pervasive Network Services Layer"

If you have migrated servers recently or changed the server network id, you may receive this error.

Solution:

Make sure the Pervasive Services are running on the server. Reinstall the Pervasive Client on the workstation.

 

Jaron reported: 

Error 3103 (Server name not found by Pervasive Services Layer) on workstations following installation of a new router.

The fix was to go into the Firewall settings on the Server and enable all Pervasive processes to receive inbound connections on the "Public" network.
